comment: Dear Yoko and Sean:

Just wanted to take a moment to wish you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I have been hearing "So This Is Christmas" on the radio quite a bit this year (more than before, I think) -- people are finally starting to wise up. I also have it at home and will play it tonight as my son Sean and I open our gifts. Again, have a blessed, joyful season.

Peace,

Lil

comment: A long time ago, my neighbor gave me a tee-shirt that he was given for playing with John and Yoko in a benefit concert in Central Park. The tee-shirt was the only thing the band received for playing in the concert. On the front, the shirt reads "Some Time in New York City." The back reads "John and Yoko". Does anyone know the date of the concert and who the benefit was for? If so, please let me know. Thank you.

I'm an art school student, and my teacher showed us two slides of Yoko's "cut piece" performance and I was so impressed by the story of it. I think every single one of you guys is very great, and I just love you. I miss you john so much, but I'm so happy that two sons of John lennon stand on their own. LOVE YOU SEAN FROM BOTTOM OF MY HEART. love, Sujin

comment: I have a few simple songs made with my guitar, small amp and mic, and Johns influence. I am 40 years old and want to send these songs on a journey. I want to send them to Yoko and want nothing in return except the satisfaction of knowing the music will be heard. After that it doesn't matter. I don't know how to send the music to her for I am unskilled with the internet and am lucky to have found this possible connection while using this library computer. Can someone help me? I believe in John

comment: The music of the Beatles and that of John has been a tower of strength and inspiration to me all my life. I started out listening to it as a child as it would play in the back- ground on my parents turn table, but as I got older I found the word s of love and hope had become my own personal talisman. They inspired me in more ways than I could possibly mention. John's lyrics especially touched a part of my soul and as a result made me the person I am today. His ideas of love and peace mesmerized my being and gave me hope for the future of humanity and Mother Earth. Imagine...........

(Editor's Note: I don't listen to Howard Stern, and wouldn't even if he was aired on a station within in my radio reach. He's a jerk and a sleaze and I wouldn't give him the time of day. He's been ragging on Yoko for years, but the best thing anyone can do to combat his arrogance is ignore him.)

comment: December 8th is today, and it is the saddest day of the year for me. Every year I remember John Lennon on this day. Every year I think of how I wish I could go back in time, fly to New York, take a cab to the Dakota and wrestle that bastard with the gun to the ground before John arrived home from the studio. For 18 years I've mourned John's murder; it has affected me more than either of the Kennedy's, and I clearly remember where I was and what I was doing when I heard about it - 18 years ago tonight. As always on this day I am re-reading some of my Lennon books ( the Playboy Interviews book is priceless), listening to his music on my headphones at work ( I'm a mailman in the Seattle area ) and watching the Imagine video tonight during the hour of his death. It is my humble way of honoring a man I wish I could have met.

Thank you John Lennon!

comment: Dearest John:

God bless you on this day, the 18th anniversary of your passing. It is like you have never left us, your insightful words and sincere humanitarian nature have shaped our lives forever. Not many had or have the guts or compassion to say what you said, or care how you cared, we are very blessed that you were born. Words cannot express what an impact you have left upon me. There was only one John Lennon, and there will always be only one John Lennon who spoke truth in volumes. May you rest in eternal peaceful sleep dear John.

Blessings, and love your Irish friend, Ann McEntee

comment: Fred and Jake...John Lennon played the Toronto Fesival in 1969 with Eric Clapton and Yoko...Apparently the Doors played that concert also...John was nervous and sick as he usually was prior to live performance and He and Yoko kept pretty much al oof from all the other musicians including Clapton and the band except on stage of course. Neither Lennon or Morrison commented to the press about the show with respect to each others performance....But in the Playboy interview John gave before his death, He deplored the burnout and die young attitude of Morrison and other stars...

comment: Hello- just new here...found a link from Bagism and wanted to say hi... actually it was the mention of the N.Y. Billboards that got my attention... Is there a place to make comments about the ANTHOLOGY Box Set. I did a review CD1 "Ascot" on the Bagism site and have received good comments and a request to do the rest of the box. I didn't mean too, but there was about 18 years bottled up that came out in my review. Does IK have any interest. Thought I would ask before I put it in your guest book.

thx. pob
