From CNN and InfoBeat:

Fans around the world were thrown into a panic yesterday when it was reported by a Swiss newspaper that George Harrison had been undergoing radiation therapy for a brain tumor at a hospital there.

George issued a statement to the news media late yesterday saying he is "feeling fine" after a successful course of radiotherapy at a hospital in Switzerland.

A statement from George's solicitor revealed that he underwent treatment at the Oncology Institute of Southern Switzerland in Bellinzona over a month ago, the UK Press Association reported.

The modest-looking hospital is on the outskirts of the picturesque mountainside town - better
known for its imposing castle than as a place where the stars seek medical care.

The statement said George had a course of radiotherapy at the clinic and that doctors do not see any need for further treatment at the hospital.

George said: "I am feeling fine and I am really sorry for the unnecessary worry which has been caused by the reports appearing in today's press. Please do not worry."

Reports about George undergoing treatment came two months after he received lung cancer
therapy in the U.S.

Oncology Institute director Luca Borner declined to confirm the reports due to patient confidentiality, the Associated Press reported on Monday.

George, 58, had surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, at the beginning of May to remove a cancerous growth from one of his
lungs.

His lawyers said that after the successful operation he had traveled to Italy to rest.

On July 20th and 21st, I'll be walking with our radio station in the Sault Ste. Marie Relay for Life, sponsored by the American Cancer Society.  We will have a luminaria lit for George on the track that day.
