A statue of a gun with its barrel twisted was unveiled and dedicated to the memory of John Lennon in Trafalgar Square yesterday as "In My Life" was chosen by songwriters as the greatest song ever written. The football star David Ginola unveiled the sculpture in an event organized by the Non-Violence Foundation International, set up in Sweden in 1993 to stop young people turning to crime. It is opening in Britain.
