![]() Over the years, John Lennon had a lot to say. And he said it in his own way - usually with humor, sometimes with anger, usually ad-libbed and incredibly with unbridled enthusiasm as the years went by. John Lennon talking about hitting the top of the charts at age 23, was no more full of emotion and wonder than John Lennon at 40 talking about a revitalized career and his beautiful family. From this main menu..we will take you on a journey through the years as John poured out his heart and revealed his soul. Our first entry is from a British teen magazine questionnaire. The original sheet of paper on which John had written his answers was printed. Keep in mind this was published in the midst of Beatlemania before John had met Yoko.
Our second entry is from the British paper, Disc Weekly, March 26, 1966. John was asked to give a run-down of some of the bits and pieces of memorabilia sitting around his house.
Our third entry is a funny little dialogue between John and his beloved and caustic Aunt Mimi Smith - the woman who raised him. John had sent Mimi postcards from Japan in the late 70's and Mimi, as usual, had something to say about it.
It was an election year in Britain and John had something to say about it.
