JULIAN ON "THE VIEW"
Story By Linda Aiello

We had to be at the taping by 9:30a.m. There was a long line, but we were early. I managed to get V.I.P. seats. Anyway, my friends Sandy, George and I were seated in the second row. During the taping you can only see the back of my head, since the second row is only seen from the back. Only the balcony seats were mainly shown with a front view.

Julian came on half way through the show as most of you know who saw it. He was interviewed a few minutes and then sang "Day After Day" off the Photograph Smile album.

The BEST part happened when the show was over. We decided to go around the side to see if Julian was in fact still at the show. We thought he would have been gone since he had plenty of time to leave. We were in luck when we went around to the side of the building. There was a limo waiting for Julian, and we saw him standing outside waiting to get in it. Perfect timing. There were only a handful of us. I called out to Julian and he waved to us. The limo was in a driveway, parking lot - Julian pointed to us and then said something to the limo driver. We just knew that he was going to stop the limo to say hello to us.

Let me tell you he immediately rolled down the window and was a real gentleman. As soon as he rolled down the window I said a big hello, and stuck my head inside and gave him a kiss on the cheek. I am so proud of him, like he's my own son. In fact he laughed when I spoke to him as if I were talking to my own son. I said "I Love You MaMa". He was extremely friendly and was very obliging to signing autographs. I only gave him one item to sign, but some fans had a few items and he signed them all with no questions asked. I could not believe what a doll he was to us, and I'm sure he is always like that. His resemblence to John is unreal. It's like John is back again, and Julian has his wonderful talent to go along with his great looks. I took a few photos of him while he was signing and then I had the idea to pose for a photo with him. He stuck his head out the limo window and I got next to him and we took the photo. He then posed with another fan who also was excited about taking a photo with Julian.

I asked him if he was going to tour soon, and he said sometime in the summer. I forgot to ask him if it were true that he is going to be Paul's escort to the Hall of Fame ceremonies. That was such an important question, and it just went out of all our heads.

After seeing Julian, we took a ride over to the art gallery to see the Harry Benson photo exhibit on The Beatles and Paul, Linda and family, and also Yoko and Sean. The photos were beautiful, and I definitely recommend the book. Then we ate pizza in a restaurant near the gallery where Paul and Linda used to eat often. There were photos of them all over the walls, and newspaper articles reporting how frequently they ate pizza at this restaurant.

All in all it was a very enjoyable day.
