Dallas, Texas September 23, 1999 Reviewed by Kristy Dillon I went to my first Cibo Matto Concert in Dallas on September 23rd and it was by far one of the best concerts I've ever been to. I went to Dallas early that day so I could find the club. The tour bus was already parked at the club(Trees) so my cousin and I ate lunch at the Deep Ellum Cafe across the street from the club. After we ate lunch we saw Duma Love talking on the pay phone so we crossed the street to say hi. He was still on the phone but he did smile at us! The concert itself was great! They sound much better live and they really get into their music on stage. Some of the songs they played were "Beef Jerky," " Birthday Cake," " Lint of Love," " Flowers," and the all time favorite "Know Your Chicken." After they played "Know Your Chicken" I had to go out to my car. I walked around the corner of the club and there stood Sean and the rest of the gang by my car! I got to talk to them for a second but they had to hurry up and go back on stage. The group is so friendly and very into meeting their fans. Sean is a very nice person who seems to thrive on performing live. I got a lot of good pictures and I hope everyone can enjoy them. I will definitely be at their next concert October 29 in Dallas!
