Cibo Matto, with Sean Lennon playing bass, other instruments and singing too, will appear at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City June 8 through the 11th. Sean is reportedly doing his own show on June 9th at the same venue. The Bowery Ballroom is located at 6 Delancey Street, between Chrystie and Bowery.
Sean appeared in the band backing up his Mom, Yoko Ono and Thurston Moore in New York City on Mother's Day, May 9, 1999. The concert was to benefit the Kosovo Refugees and took place at the Knitting Factory. The show was broadcast live on the web.
Cibo Matto performed in the South By Southwest music and film festival in Austin, Texas. Sean also appeared with the group. The official South by Southwest web site lists Cibo Matto playing in the Music Festival portion of the event at midnight on March 20, 1999 at LaZona Rosa.
