I believe that peace begins with us, but if we all get together even in an imaginary way, because of the distance I mean, that will make a difference, or at least it does to me.

My name is Ana. And I am amazed at how much John and Yoko could love. I never had anyone love me that much, except for one person. And yet.. they don't understand. I always thought I was crazy, very confusing things were always happening to my mind. These things made me hate, made me want everyone to suffer because they didn't understand me. 

But then I read about a person named John Lennon. I always knew he was there, the famous Beatle, but I didn't know about him. A man who had the same problems as me, and all he had to do was feel, but he couldn't do it alone. Yoko helped John feel, and seeing them together helped me feel. Its amazing how much they glowed when they were together, they didn't need anyone else. They only needed each other. 

So everyone love!! Love each other!! We can't have peace if the world is full of hate!!

BOOK CROSSING FOR PEACE

Along with 182,924 other BookCrossers, I share my books with others. Although BookCrossing was not necessarily started with any intention of promoting world peace, I think that is what it does.  I can't see how you can hate or make war with anyone who shares your love of reading and books.
 
A fellow BookCrosser sent me the link to Yoko's site, and immediately I felt BookCrossing and Yoko's and John's ideas go together.  (see my bookshelf:

I just love this idea .. i think that there needs to be more of this ...ALL THE PEOPLE loving and getting together ... and sharing their feelings of love and not hate.  

I have two beautiful daughters and I just hope that they will teach others to love as they love ... my daughters are very kind souls.. they always try to help and give to others without asking anything but
maybe a hug in return .. i think we need more of this in our world. My daughters are ages 6 and 3.  I also have a 16 year old sister that does the same.   

I try to do as much as i possibly can for all others no matter the situation .. not trying to boast .. i just would like to see others doing the same.  I believe that if everyone would do this that our world would be a better place for our future and the future of the children and their children.

I hope that you all will live with nothing but peace and love in your hearts...

BIRTHDAY EVENT...

I have had a few ideas over the years about events that I want to do but since John Lennon's birthday is coming up I thought that it would be good to have this idea expressed to the people of Instant Karma! and Onoweb.  

In honor of John's birthday I would ask that everyone around the world would send a birthday card to their leaders (elected or otherwise).  The message of the birthday card would read as follows (or something similar should you think of it.)

No Terrorism
No War
