Oct.9th,2005; The world needs & wants a national holiday for John Lennon; Why Not?!  Everyone who has made a difference in our world; while they were here physically; Deserves a holiday!  John's been gone 24 years this year; since his passing to the spirit world, Our world has changed!! I believe, because of John the world was a better place; He stood up for the things; Like Peace, Love, Power to the people!!!  He has left a little piece of himself to everyone, who truly loves him; The music, and most of all, his son's; through them John's spirit shines on   I  would love to see the entire world come together; to celebrate his spirit, life, music; and most of all, his love for everyone world wide; With out John, the world has been lost; there will never be another one like him; But, Julian and Sean come close; I pray someday they will come together and make a album in honor of John!! Maybe do some music of John's, by blending his voice in with theirs. That would be a big hit, Give the world back a piece of John!! What a gift that would be; The World is waiting, Come on boy's; Remember daddy's work is  never done. I have been a fan of  John's, for many years; I miss him,Love him forever! when I pass to the spirit world;John will be waiting on the other side, our spirits will come together & be free!! Only because I believe, John Lennon is still here with us all;maybe not physically, But spiritually;  Personally, I signed the petition for Peace and Love; Please anyone who reads this;needs to sign John's petition;at JOHN LENNON.COM; (thank-you all,if you already signed).I wrote this to a local radio peronality, here in washington state;but he didn't have time to pass it on,live on the air;so i'm going to share it with all of you. I believe John helped me with this;thru his spiritual energy; Peace and Love on Earth; After all, john did imagine this for us,In memory of John Lennon, come Together to make his day happen world wide.We need to Give Peace a Chance;that's what john wanted for the world! All we need is Love;John passed this on to us,all his life;ALL TOGETHER NOW! WE CAN MAKE THIS HAPPEN FOR JOHN. It will take dedication, besides John dedicated his life to this cause; He deserves our dedication to make this happen for him!! Sincerely, Dee Graham / Washington State..  P.S. Planning on making a web site for John;so all the fans that truly Love, Care, Miss him forever; Can come together and remember JOHN WINSTON LENNON; LET'S GET TOGETHER;TALK, LEAVE A THOUGHT OR TWO,ABOUT HOW JOHN MADE A DIFFERENCE IN OUR LIVES. TAKE CARE,JOHN LENNON SHINES ON FOREVER&EVER!! THANK-YOU EVERYONE.(Dee)..
Yoko is John living on, she is. I love her for all the hope of peace she has given us. I believe peace is just a step away.

If only pig headed polititions believed that. I used to be a hipocritical, premadonish, capitalistic pig. But I was given a cd of Imagine from my ex-girlfriend and I found out what I was beleiving wasn't right. I now believe in being able to dream, I was always told not to dream.

I am doing a Peace campaign of my own at my school in Indianapolis, Indiana in the USA. I want people to believe that we can all get along. "We all are in the same bag." I may not know who is reading this, but because you are at this site, I love you, and whoever isn't reading this.

Peace + Love,
-Sean

SAY  YES  TO PEACE AT DAWN AND AT SUNSET

Dear Yoko Ono:

Hi !

I practiced listening to a heart beat at Art Around The Park in the East Village as part of the Howl ! Festival.

For my part, I created a painting/installation which had an image of Ghandi as a young man next to a reflective mirror cut in the shape of Ghandi's photo. Under each read "peace maker" under the mirror and Ghandi under the image of Ghandi.

I wished for people to see themselves as peace maker.

On the drop cloth, I stencilled : Free Speech Yes
and invited all to write or draw whatever they wanted on the canvas.

This is a painting.

One of the people who stopped to see my work was wearing a simple white t-shirt on which he had written Yoko Ono in marker. He and his girlfriend were intrigued by my artwork. We talked. I stencilled the word Yes on the back of his t-shirt. I listened to both of their heartbeats.

Thank you for this idea.

This is what I have been looking for and I found it. Thank God it exists:D. I hope the good will spread all over the Earth....   Best, Merle

John would have a hay day  so much to write about,  everyone has let the politicians take over the country,  its time the people tack it back, John would remind all of us that for sure. Never would've let it happen. Never

As our country's day of independence passes for another year, war continues.  Our government represents the people, but did not ask our permission to start this war.  Instead the US is now viewed as the bully, the terroist, not the peacekeepers.  Our civil liberties are limited more and more.  JL would not recognize our world now, a world that is so much different than the one he left, and left too soon.  We must all join together this November, and VOTE.  Change will only happen with action.  Our voices must be heard.

Dear Ms. Ono

Thank you so much for the message in the Sunday New York Times. It touched my heart and helped me remember that which is truly important. Sincerest regards for a peaceful world.

Hello, this is a message of Peace and Love on this xmas day, going out to Ono Yoko sama, and all her friends, family and supporters.

I just wanna say that i have been singing "War is Over" with many many junior high kids in Hamada in the past few weeks, at the suggestion of 2 of my JTE's. (I am working as and ALT for the JET Programme.) We also have sung many other Beatles songs, and of course, "Imagine".

I feel proud and happy to be sharing John and Yoko's messages with these children.

Blessings and respect,
Chris P. Madden

Happy Xmas!

(War isn't over unfortunately)

Hi there. This message is especially for Ono Yoko-sama, but also to everyone who is associated with your wonderful work for peace.

Joyful Solstice!

I hope you are warm and healthy and happy and have loving friends and family around you on Sunday, our shortest day, longest nite of the year. Maybe have your longest soak in an onsen that night. Or your longest back massage, your
longest sing-along, longest meditation...
Whatever you do, do it with love.

I am sending you peace from Hamada-shi,

Shimane-ken,
Chris P.

John already knew that Peace not only had a chance, it is already here amongst us for those of us who are ready to join in.

One World was not something only to be imagined, it is already a reality waiting to be discovered by us when we are ready to find it.

Thank you for your dream John and Yoko.  May we join you in this dream, and may its reality become our reality.

Hi Yoko,

I'm just sitting in the school and learning about wars and my "friends" are laughing when peoples talk about killing, so I must thing about greatness of peace. And I think that everybody must thank you for that You do for the peace.

Thank You  Yoko!

Miki, Czech Republic

P.S. I'm sorry for mistakes in text, 'cos I'm only 13.

Unfortunately I was not born to experience the peace and love that John brought to the world, while he was still here to experience it himself, but if he were here to see, I think he would see it the way I do, that even though there are wars all around us,that all of the chaos makes us feel that there is no hope.

That isn't at all true, because John has touched so many lives that even though we can't save the world, all the lives he has touched will forever "give Peace a chance." Even though I wasn't able to meet John, I can feel inside exactly what he was saying!!!! I love you John, thank you for giving Peace a chance!

As I sit here, I am disturbed, as yesterday the US Congress said they wanted a bigger military!  Last month sometime, the head of the selective service said he would begin filling the staff roles of the service, incase the draft was reinstated!

A few prior months to that, the government was talking about reinstating the draft. I believe it is coming and for what?  Are the people in our government  planning a larger scale invasion of the Middle East?

They talked before about an invasion of Iran!  Whats going to happen next?  Perhaps next year!

America needs to mind its own business!  Leave people of draft age alone!  Keep our jobs here in America and keep our people working!  Bush wants to send 85 million in american dollars to help rebuild Iraq, as our soldiers still die there everyday?  Who is crazy!  Our leaders talk openly of using nuclear weapons now, like the end results would be nothing!  It seems they want WAR!

Dear John,

Can you hear us crying here for you, in this world you left behind?  This beautiful, awful world still run by madmen who are killing lives and souls with hatred, greed and weapons?

We miss you terribly on this 23rd anniversary of your murder.  We are crying--for us, for our children, for our world, for all peoples, and for the loss of you and George...beautiful souls not made for this world.

Thank you for the music you left behind to guide us, inspire us, and comfort us until we meet with you in the Land of Peace.

Peace and Love,
Karen

Let's all pray for peace! Peace on earth and Love for all the people! We miss you John! We all shine on!

Dawn
